Happy hump day!

Hey there, everyone! Today was my loong day of work, but i'm home now and catching up on my blogging and my American Idol (good combo, huh? :-) I'm dropping off some recent layouts. I bought a Valentine's Day placemat at Target with the plan to cut into it and use it on a layout, so I had fun doing that with this one (the tree, bird and butterflies are from it). Ahh, hard to believe my little Chloe was that tiny - I think she was just about 10 days old here.

This layout was made using the GORGEOUS (seriously gorgeous, I might add!) March kit from CMK. I did this for today's blog post at CMK - it was my turn to do our weekly Wednesday Words challenge, so my challenge was to create a layout about a family tradition. One of my favorite traditions that we have is making chocolate chip waffles every Sunday. It's a simple tradition, but a yummy and enjoyable one ;-)

So, what did you all think about the ending on the Bachelor?? I know i'm not the only one who watched! ;-) Hope everyone is having a great week!

What a great idea to use a placemat!!!! I just love your style and the detail work you put into each LO!!!! I was surprised by the ending of the Bachelor!!! I felt so sorry for Melissa!!!! I agreed when she said why didn't he put in more effort. I was really sad the way this one ended. He seems like such a dummy!

i am in touch with Lisa already, Staci ! & so far I haven't found a solution to my problem - short of using someone's internet access/pc to go to CMK! there's something wrong on my end I'm sure.

Totally hated the ending of The Bachelor! Don't know why I waste my time, seriously!

I just loved that Baby Chloe page... just the sweetest :) The waffle page is great too. What a neat family tradition to have. I'm sure the kids really look forward to that every week :)

Have a terrific weekend, Staci!

OK - I seriously need to get the Farmer's Wife line. So cute!!!! Great layouts!

The Bachelor is 1 of the few reality shows I don't watch, but I read Melissa's interview on-line today. What a cruddy way to end the show!

Stacy,
The placemat idea is just GENIUS!!! I'm totally using that! I LOVED the cute little Valentine's Day stuff they had at Target too. I bought the CUTEST little red cup with little birdies on it. I should have bought more, but I restrained myself and now after seeing your cute layout I SO regret it!

Yah, I watched the bachelor and I think that guy is SUCH a jerk! I didn't watch the whole season, but that left a really bad taste in my mouth.

Hugs!
