Playing dress-up

Anyone who knows my son knows he loooooves to play dress-up. It doesn't matter if he's pretending to be batman, spiderman, darth vader, or his made up red-caped "Super Nova" character, Noah just loves to turn into someone else for periods of time. He's been known to go on walks/bike rides through the neighborhood with his cape flying behind him, and to go on park playdates with his cape, too. I love that he is so imaginative, and I hope he never loses this side of himself.

Journaling: Its not just for little girls. Not a day goes by that you aren't wearing some kind of costume. It is so cool to watch your imagination run wild!

PP is Little yellow bicycle, cosmo cricket; wings are tim holtz; chip letters are heidi swapp and small letters are MM.

Speaking of my little man, this is a very eventful week. He turns four on thursday. Two more days! Sniff, sniff. We are having a birthday party for him on Sunday at My Gym. He's very excited, and i'm excited for him. I'm sure i'll update later in the week with a photo of my FOUR year old!

AMAZING layout Staci, wow! The cut-work and design are PERFECT as always!

My wee babe will be 4 in a couple of weeks too, sniff, sniff. ALL my boys love to play dress-up too, we have a dress-up box. Needless to say, I have more pics of my dd in jedi costumes, batman costumes and the sort, not a single princess one, she won't let the boys see her that way....giggle!

Have a wonderful week my friend!
hugs & love!

Staci,

I absolutely LOVED this LO, it is so NOAH! I remember a few weeks ago when we went for a walk and he asked if he could wear his cape and mask and of course I let him, in spite of the fact it was 87 degrees outside. I hope Noah will never lose the innocence and wonderment that allows him to live "in his other world" when he chooses to. He is an amazing little boy and it is so hard to believe my little guy will be turning 4 tomorrow.

Love,
Mom

I love that layout. My ds loves to dress up, too. I have a layout from when he was four how he wore this cheetah head that I'd made everywhere for weeks! LOL!

That is SUCH a cute page, Staci! I love those photos of your "almost 4 year old" cutie and love that he dresses up and plays pretend. Although the cape thing keeps making me think of that movie, the Incredibles, about superheroes and their capes. LOL!
